How do you make a startup CBD company stand out among the crowd in an already saturated market? The answer? Smart branding and unique design. purelov was looking for some simple tweaks to their existing label design. After having a quick chat with purelov we realized they would need much more than a quick revision to their label.
First we took an in-depth look at purelov’s business goals, aspirations, and audience demographics. Then we assessed their branding and labels to determine if their existing designs aligned with their mission. It was clear that they needed more effective branding to better connect with their audience on a more emotional level.
purelov was looking to highlight the legitimate medical benefits of CBD with a cleaner, more clinical appearance than most of the existing hemp brands on the market. In addition to this, their audience tends to be a slightly older, female demographic with loved ones or pets at home who may also benefit from CBD products.
Pinnacle Media rebuilt purelov’s branding from the ground up with our newfound audience insights in mind, to more accurately speak to their target demographics. We designed a new logo, brand style guide, label and package designs for their human line as well as their pet line. We also consulted on the design of their website to ensure it was in line with our newly established visual brand guidelines.
